Here’s all the music that plays in the video game of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. After seeing the complete Harry Potter movie soundtrack video, I felt a strong urge to do something similar… but for the video games! For this video, I played through the PC version, and took screenshots for each track, to show where it plays. I thought it might be handy.

  1. 50:44 still gives me nightmares… Also when the scary voice comes for the first time. OH AND also when you find the Paralyzed Ghost!

  2. 7:38 Remember when I had 5 years and I waken up myself at 5 am just to pause the game and listen to this music 😍😍😍

  3. The Goyle level was terrifying as hell. Especially when you turned back into Harry and everyone in the Slytherin common room started running towards you. "Professor Snape!"

  4. I still dont know How to go underground while fighting with Draco Malfoy

You know, when you play Quidditch

  5. 12:55 This composer man… I mean this was played in a simple scene where you are just kind of rushed inside the castle by Ron but just hear how much care was put into this. Today I see it as the first time you get to see that castle in the distance, you're far from home going into a world that has so much ready for you to explore and learn, but at 13:43 you're reminded that not all of those things are good, beyond that, something insidious, twisted and malignant is waiting inside for the right moment to strike.

When I played this as a kid I never really noticed how good the soundtrack was but today this is by far the best soundtrack to a game or movie ever made, without ever using the main Harry Potter theme song once

Oh and 9:43 had no business being this scary, I swear I almost had a heart attack every time that started to play, and as soon as it did start in that hallway leading to the bathroom I never ever went there again unless I absolutely had to. That hallway is scarier than the entire Overlook Hotel from The Shining.

  6. Little did I know as a child that the music was what made me keep going back to these games, creating such a full atmosphere – Then the same with Assassin's Creed II years later.
It's so easy to overlook incredible music as this is just an early 2000s kids game.
Perhaps it's just nostalgia talking but this soundtrack is a gem which shouldn't be forgotten.

  7. I've tried to download this one off of MP3Juices, but it never works. It sucks because this is my favorite one. 😞

  8. I think we can all agree that the first three games in this series are the best! I still play them even to this day, and I enjoy it so much! Who knows perhaps we will even see a remastered edition of the 3 games at some point in the future.

  9. During 1:34:40 we see Lockhart supporting the Ravenclaw Seeker, Lockhart wasn’t confirmed as being Ravenclaw himself until long after Pottermore started (post-2012) so either the gamemakers had a lucky guess as to his house or JKR confirmed it to them privately. Think it’s the latter

  10. When my father bought PC, this was the first game i ever played. I think i was around 6 year old, now i am now 23. Fascinating how unconscious mind works, out of nowhere this nostalgic game came to my mind, and i relived my childhood. i miss my childhood. :c

  11. 1:21:48 That's the music that would play in a 1940's Disney cartoon centered around alcoholism, whereas 1:31:01 is the music that would play if you were freefalling down the Grand staircase with the moving stairs
