Just grabbed a 2tb version for 229.00. I have a one TB evo pro for my OS, I use the 2tb for storage.
I'll never trust spinning drives again. This is so much better.

With the Samsung Magician software, I had Overprovisioning set to 25% of the storage drive, and I also enabled the performance optimization option (RAPID Mode). This gave me a speed of over 3,000MB/s for sequential reads and writes! I checked twice, just in case. (I have a 500GB version.).

Got tired of playing Skyrim (heavily modded) on my external mechanical drive (1TB) and there was no space in my boot drive (850PRO 128GB) so I got one of these and wow great performance. I honestly thought it wouldn't be able to compete with the PRO version that I bought years ago!
